Woman, child survive mauling by cheetahs at wildlife park
Sat May 5, 2012
I have been to Africa many times and have seen all of these animal in the wild. They are majestic and you get the sense that if everything was equal, no guns, no trucks etc., we would have a huge problem surviving. Key to that survival would be to STAY AWAY FROM THESE PREDATORS.
Authorities: Remains in Texas creek likely boy who was starved to death

White people do kill, without question and in a most horrible fashion. No one deserves what happened to Trayvon, ever. I think the gun has a lot more to do with creating the circumstances where this confrontation was able to occur than its getting credit for.
Authorities: Remains in Texas creek likely boy who was starved to death

I don't even know what to write about this. I mean, is there anything less human than starving a child. No drug, no condition, nothing could ever explain this. I have always wondered at what point sadistic killers brains indicate these courses of action are justified.
The Heavyweight: Rulon Gardner a no-show at weigh-in
Mon Apr 23, 2012
This is a guy with many complex issues to deal with. He has had many failed relationships in his life and seems to think the only way to prove yourself is by setting unachievable milestones to test your limits.

Gay spying case: Will jury convict for 'hate'?

If Tyler were straight would this still be a crime? Certainly there wouldn't be any high profile screaming in the media. I also question whether or not this is actual invasion of privacy being that it is his residence.
At this rate, we might never retire
Tue Mar 13, 2012
LOL, retiring means not being physically capable of working.
Oh, how times have changed over 50 years of marriage
Tue Mar 6, 2012
Wow, that is the most pessimistic observation about long term relationships I think I have ever read. If you said cultural pressures kept many together I might agree but I think many more were kept together by a complete sense of family and respect and care than by any negative forces.
Slain soldier's dad burns NJ flag to protest Houston tribute

It is appropriate to honor citizens who make contributions to our society and our culture whether it is in the arts, military, business or by any other means.
Marines posed with flag resembling Nazi SS logo in Afghanistan

I get it, so killing Muslim extemists is somehow going to make Jewish people angry. Now we want to arm chair manage this war like some late night ESPN show. It is getting a very Vietnam feeling to it if you ask me. Leave these guys to do their job.
